A team of Media Plexus designers and programmers, as well s consulting artists and scientists developed the Artography software designed to transform photographs into images with a unique "painted" look. Unlike most applications, Artography doesn't distort the source image. It uses a low resolution source only as a reference to create a new high resolution "painted" image. We created, developed and implemented:

• Two versions of software was developed: Artography At Home (for consumer use), and Artography PRO (advanced version for use at Artography facilities)
• Mathematical models (provided by the NYU) as C# optimized code
• Application architecture with optimized mathematical models
• Advanced triangulation and blurring algorithm
• Multiple painting stiles
• Basic image editor to facilitate image resizing, cropping, rotation, color balance and gamma adjustments to the whole image or selected areas
• Personal signature creation and insertion mechanism
• Rendering speed optimization, by implementing unsafe C# code technology
• Active help hints
• Simple, user-friendly application GUI, developed for users with little computer experience
• Visual attractive real time painting process
• Mechanism of uploading user's images in a proprietary format for exact reproduction of user applied stiles and printing large format picture at Artography Direct facility.
• Online software registration and upgrade/update

We also fully designed and developed www.artographydirect.com , a corporate website, created to provide information about Artography technology, Investor information etc.. Also, the site facilitates taking orders for production of 20" x 30" framed prints, based on user's images (mailed or uploaded), rendered with Artography PRO. Site features:

• Flash animated painting process demonstration
• E-commerce module to facilitate imaged upload and large format picture print out
• Picture frame selection mechanism
• Specialized task distribution for fulfillment
• Credit card payment gateway interface
• Sophisticated backend administration and management system

Media Plexus team has also developed the 2nd website, www.artographyathome.com dedicated specifically to marketing the Artography At Home version of the software, as well as post sale registration, support, and user / member club activities. The website features:
